Okay, so after an awesome week at Music Camp, we met the other leaders at South Park, loaded the vans, and made our way to Killeen, Texas. I had no idea that Killeen was a city, yet alone the home of the "free world's" largest army base. Although I was unaware of this, I don't think I'll ever forget this weekend spent there. My group of girls were great, and the whole youth group was so... excited! It was so encouraging to see kids so involved. Friday night, my group made it through the two sessions in four hours, and I hardly even talked! It was great to hear the girls asking questions, and then other girls answering with Bible verses, or examples. By the time I was getting ready to crash for the night, I was so excited about what God was already doing. So anyway, Saturday was a blast. Rec was crazy, of course, and later that night when we came back together for worship, I knew that God was going to move in big ways. I was amazed at the response to the calls God had placed on the kids' hearts. It was such a blessing to see so many kids getting things right with God. I pray that the excitement and the growing continues. This weekend really had a strong impact on my heart. I'm so excited to see what else God does this semester!
