Bethany Baptist Church

God was very present in the spirit of the congregation of Bethany Baptist Church. Glowing Heart only did the Sunday morning service at the church so we did not have much time to bond with members of the church or the youth, but never the less; everyone was very welcoming and ready to worship our Savior. We got to speak with many members of the congregation before the service and many of the women I spoke to take such pride in their church body. You could just tell how in love they were with the Lord, and they were even excited and full of joy as they spoke to me of their relationship with Him. It was very encouraging to see women that strong in their walk, and just the joy that they possessed for simply telling me of His love. They were so eager to tell others and I realized that morning that that is how I should be in my walk, always eager to tell of the good news. And equally eager to worship and thank Him for the work He is constantly doing in my life, as the congregation also demonstrated. It was a very refreshing morning and made me see how refreshing the presence of God can be every time I worship and spend time with Him.
